2. Collection and storage of personal data - purpose and use

When awarded with your contract, we will collect the following data:

  • title, first name, last name
  • company address
  • delivery address(es)
  • address(es) of subsidiaries, affiliates, if applicable
  • e-mail address
  • Telephone number (landline and / or mobile)
  • fax number (if available & desired), if applicable
  • bank account information, if applicable

Additionally, all information necessary for the fulfillment of the contract with you will be collected.

Purpose of the collection:

  • identify you as our customer
  • enabling us to give you counseling
  • enabling us to fulfill our contractual obligations
  • enabling us to fulfill our legal obligations
  • for correspondence with you
  • for invoicing or, if applicable, for dunning process
  • for purposes of permissible direct mail, if applicable
  • for assertion of claims, if applicable

The processing of personal data takes place on your inquiry and is necessary for the mentioned purposes, for the processing of your order and for the fulfillment of obligations from the underlying contract.
The personal data collected will be stored until the end of the legal retention period (6 or 10 years after the end of the calendar year in which the contractual relationship was terminated) and then deleted. This does not apply if we are obliged to store for longer periods due to tax or commercial storage requirements (in accordance with HGB, StGB or AO) or if you have consented to an extended storage period.

3. Disclosure of data to third parties

A transfer of your personal data to third parties will not take place, as a matter of principle.

Exceptions to this apply only insofar, if it is necessary for the execution of contractual relationships with you.

In particular this includes the transfer to service providers commissioned by us (manufacturers, structural engineers, freight forwarders, chambers of commerce and industry, customs and other third parties whose activity is necessary for the performance of the contract.

4. Rights for affected persons

As person affected by our privacy policy, you have various rights

  • Right of withdrawal: You can revoke your consent at any time. The data processing, which is based on the revoked consent, then no longer may be continued.
  • Right of information: You can request information about your data processed by us. This includes information about the purpose of the data storage, the categories of personal data, the categories of recipients (if applicable), the duration of storage, possibly the source of your data.
  • Right of cancellation: You can request the deletion of your personal data stored by us.
  • Right to restriction of processing: You may request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.
5. Right of objection

If we process your personal data based on a legitimate interest, you have the right to object against this processing. If you would like to exercise your right of objection, an informal written notification to the address listed under 1. is sufficient.
